You have came a long way, congrats! The window is the last piece of the shed building project.
Having a window on the shed is a great option. In addition to letting sunlight into the shed, it provides better air ventilation inside, especially if you build bigger shed that you plan to spend more time inside it to work on various home projects.
The window size used for this shed is (14″ W x 21″ H). Measuring the distance between the two stud columns, the distance horizontally should be 14″. However, if the distance is less then 14″ wide, mark, from inside the shed, with a pencil the exact size and use circular saw to cut through the sidings. Both horizontal and vertical lines should be leveled before cutting. Be careful not to cut through the stud columns.
Keeping it simple, no need to purchase an expensive window. What you see on the picture is a small aluminum frame window (size: 14″ x 21″) ordered online from Atlantic Shed website. They sell different sizes of windows primarily for sheds and barns.
If you like to add more touch to the window, you can get window shutters like those on the picture. They sell them in different colors. The ones shown on photo are 9″ x 22″.
